Do I need to have a doctor's referral?

No.  You can make an appointment yourself, or your doctor may refer you as part of your medical treatment.  A doctor's referral is preferred for complex dietary issues.


How long is an appointment?

Initial consultations take 60 minutes with subsequent appointments taking up to 30 minutes.


How many appointments will I need?

Appointments are made until dietary goals are met.  This may vary from one to five or more.


How much does it cost?


Initial consultation: $100

Subsequent consultation:$52

Concession rates available.


Clients managed by their GP under an Enhanced Primary Care (EPC) Plan:

Initial consultation: $80

Subsequent consultation:$65


Eligible clients can claim Medicare benefits ($52.95) for up to five allied health services in a calendar year. 

Bulk billing available. 

Medicare Easyclaim available.


Department of Veterans Affairs:

Appointments are free for veterans holding a DVA Gold Card and have a DVA allied health referral from their GP.


Private Health Insurance:

A Private Health Care rebate may be available for those who have private health cover with a participating health fund.  Check with your Insurer to determine eligibity.
